Don't reroll on day one. RF Online Next is not a reroll game — you fuse duplicate Biosuits and Rovers of the same rarity to upgrade them, and you earn daily Credit summons just by playing. Restarting throws away progress for a pull you'd have gotten anyway. Full reasoning in the reroll guide.

Two things to get right at character creation

  • Faction is permanent — your Biosuit is not. Agonize over the faction (use the Starter Finder if unsure); relax about the class, because you can switch suits freely later.
  • Design your appearance with care. Changing it later costs premium currency, so it's the one "free now, paid later" decision on the creation screen. Get it right the first time.

Your first-24-hours checklist

  1. Pick your faction carefully — it's permanent. Use the Starter Finder if you're unsure. You can't change this later, so take your time.
  2. Finish the intro story quest line. Don't reroll in a panic — your Biosuit is switchable later. The intro unlocks your first real gameplay loop.
  3. Test your starting Biosuit in real combat before committing resources to it. Switch if the feel isn't right — Biosuits share gear, so it's low-cost to try another.
  4. Join a guild early. War content (Mining War, Chip War) requires faction coordination. Guilds also unlock exclusive daily quests and resource streams.
  5. Check the daily and weekly mission board before you start free grinding. Quests multiply your resource gain per hour significantly.
  6. F2P players: read the F2P route before your first cash-shop prompt. Know what's free before you spend anything.
  7. Watch one Sacred Weapon deployment (MAU, Launcher, or Animus) in action. Understanding endgame war early shapes your progression goals and Biosuit choices.

Claim your free launch rewards

Before you settle in, sweep up the freebies — they're easy early power:

  • Pre-registration mail. If you pre-registered, your rewards (including a Rare Biosuit) arrive in your in-game mailbox — claim them within the 7-day window before they expire.
  • Twitch Drops. The launch Twitch Drops event runs through 30 June 2026 — link your accounts and watch eligible streams for free items.
  • Login & event rewards. Check the events tab daily during launch month; Netmarble front-loads giveaways around release.

Resource priority — spend nothing until you understand it

The fastest way to waste a launch is to dump materials into gear enhancement before you know the risk curve. Bank your upgrade kits and currency, push enhancement only to the safe threshold first, and save the gamble for when you have protection. Daily quests > open grinding for raw resource gain, every time.
